On December 16th, our dear friend Rommel passed away.  Rommel has been a frequent guest for several years.  He was always first in line for a  hug or a treat.  He also knew how to play us.  When we would ask him to do something, he couldn't hear us.  When we asked him if he wanted a treat - he would come running!  On the days that we knew Rommel was going home, we would spend extra time with him, to get in that last hug before a long separation.  When his Dad arrived, you would hear on the walkie "Rommel's going home" and everyone would come running!

In honor of his memory, we are dedicating our 'Back of the House" run to Rommel.  This was his favorite place to stay when he was with us.  From this point forward, the Back of the House will now be called "Rommel's Run".
