Cade and his family moved away from the area about a year ago. We were thrilled to learn today that they have returned! Cade will be joining us for daycare again beginning tomorrow. We can't wait to play with Cade again!
Check out our new office space!
Our remodeled building consolidates Customer Service, Retail Store,
Grooming, and Large Dog Indoor Daycare all into one area. For your
enjoyment, we created a viewing area where you can see your pet playing
with others in our Large Dog Indoor Daycare. In addition, based on
your feedback, we enhanced our grooming area by creating a dedicated
bathing room and grooming room. The retail space is for your
convenience and will stock popular toys, clothing and healthy food.
Please let us know if there are items that you would like for us to
stock for you.
More pictures coming soon!
Rita
Rita has been our honored guest for several months. Her parents could no longer keep her, so we took care of her until we found her a new home. This is a message we received from her new family:
I just had to drop you guys a quick note and say thank you both so very much! We couldn't have asked for a better dog than Rita! We had a wonderful day (she got her first outing to Marymoor). Even though we kept her on leash the entire time, she did phenomenal!
Her homecoming was great...she just fit right in! We introduced the cats to her...and well, it's going pretty darn good, better than expected really. Rita shows no desire to eat them, and in fact is more curious than anything. She's a little hesitant around them and it's more my big orange cat who's being a bit of jerk and staking out his territory. We're keeping Rita tethered for a few days until everyone gets comfortable with the situation.
Thought I'd send you a couple of pics too, note the cat asleep behind Rita!!!
Take Care!!!
Karen
Update: April 7, 2009
She has progressed soooo far! She is fully trained at this point...walks on a loose lead when prompted, has fairly good recall (I'm still working w/ her on this), and has full command of Sit, Down, Stay, Hug and high-5, and loves to play hide and seek with treats. I've never had a dog so incredibly well house trained either...this girl is FASTIDIOUS..she hates to even go in the back-yard! While she continues to show interest in the cats, she's very good at responding to "leave-it"...the cats, who have had a couple of confrontations with her, are now VERY good at giving her lots of space and aren't so quick to hiss or confront her...which basically means Kahlo can be in side without wearing a lead! She's really a happy pup...and a huge part of our family...it's as if she's always been here!

Brutus
We had another guest for an extended stay with a similar situation to Rita. He is a Saint Bernard named Brutus. We are very happy to report that he went home to his new family this week!
"Here he is with his new girlfriend and buds. He is mostly tired all the time right now trying to keep up with the pack, but he will soon get himself in shape enough to do the same as the rest of them. He seems very happy, and yesterday, given the chance to run off when the gate was open, he just stuck with the gang, and came right back in the yard. He is already very stuck to this place and the other dogs. Thx again for him." Ken
