MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS: This Membership Agreement is a license only granting you a revocable right to bring your pet to No Place Like Home Pet Resort (NPLH) for daycare, boarding, grooming, and training subject to the type of membership you have chosen on the front of this Membership Agreement, and the terms of this Membership Agreement. If you are in breach of this Membership Agreement or you fail to follow the Club Rules and Regulations, NPLH may freeze your membership and provide you with 30 days written notice and opportunity to cure, or NPLH may cancel your membership if your fees are not paid. If you are in breach of this Membership Agreement, and you do not cure your breach during the 30-day period, NPLH may immediately cancel your membership. If your pet presents a safety issue to other pets, or the staff of NPLH, NPLH shall have the right to immediately cancel your membership, and refund any paid but unused membership days.
CANCELLATION PROCEDURE: You may cancel this Membership Agreement, subject to the terms listed in this paragraph. All cancellations, except for the 3-Day Buyer’s Right to Cancel, require a 30-day written notice in advance of the next billing date. If membership is cancelled within the first 6 months, a $100 cancellation fee will be assessed. The cancellation fee and the final month’s dues will be immediately billed upon receipt of the cancellation request. A Member may cancel their membership within the first 6 months due to relocation out of the area by providing 30 day written notice with proof of relocation. Death of the Member or pet will result in immediate cancellation of this agreement. Billing is done on the 1st of each month. If your cancellation request is received with less than 30-days notice of the next billing date, you will be responsible for that next month’s dues. All cancellations must be received in writing. A membership cancellation form is available and may be used for your convenience. If you wish to cancel this Membership Agreement within 3 calendar days of the date you sign it, you may cancel this Membership Agreement by coming into the club and signing a cancellation form or delivering or mailing by certified mail, returned receipt requested, written notice to this club. The club will process the refund within 5 days. The notice must clearly indicate that you are canceling this Membership Agreement. The notice must be delivered or mailed to No Place Like Home Pet Resort, 14720 58th Ave E, Puyallup, WA 98059. After the initial term of this Membership Agreement, your membership shall continue on a month-to-month basis. This month-to-month membership can be canceled for any reason, with 30-day’s prior written notice. Except as stated in this Membership Agreement under the terms and conditions provisions above, NPLH will not cancel your membership without your written authorization. It is the member’s responsibility to confirm that cancellation request has been received.
MEMBERSHIP OBLIGATIONS PAYMENT OR DUES AND CREDIT CHARGES: Your dues and credit charges are payable monthly via automatic credit account charge or check, in advance, and shall be delinquent if not received by the fifth day of the month for which they are due. All members are required to satisfy any returned checks, including a $20.00 returned item charge, within 5-days of return. If you are having a problem with your payments, or need to make arrangements for special payment plans, please contact NPLH immediately. NPLH is hereby authorized to use any means of collection for unpaid past due accounts including but not limited to collection agencies, credit bureaus, and authorizing credit card debits. All credit card chargeback rights are waived.
FREEZE POLICY: Members may put their membership on freeze, in one calendar month increments, for up to three calendar months per calendar year. Notice of freeze must be in writing and be received prior to the first day of the month to be frozen. Members requesting a freeze during the first 6 months of this agreement will receive monthly billing per the agreement, and will have current agreement extended by the number of frozen months. Month to Month Members will not be billed for frozen months.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY / LEGAL TERMS: I attest that I am the legal owner of the pet. I agree that I am solely responsible for any harm to people, other animals or property caused by my pet while in the care of NPLH. I further agree that NPLH and its staff will not be liable for any problems that develop with my pet, provided reasonable care and precautions are followed and I hereby release them of any liability included but not limited to loss or damage due to disease, death, escape, theft, fire, fight, injury to persons or other pets, damage to property or other unavoidable causes arising from my pet’s stay at NPLH. I further agree that should my pet become ill, or seem to be in need of medical attention, I authorize NPLH to administer aid and/or to use any available veterinarian. I agree to pay all incurred expenses. I understand that my pet must be in good health. I also agree that my pet will be free of disease or contagious illness for thirty days prior to admission. I certify that my pet has neither harmed nor shown any aggressive behavior toward any person or any other pets.
